The Kryos Approach
Kryos strives to be different. In a market clogged with businesses and
consultancies all flaunting “differentiators”, the very word
“different” has lost its meaning. Everyone says they’re different.
Everyone says they’re remarkable. Everyone says they’re unique. So
rather than say we have a remarkably unique and different approach, we
thought we’d just spell out what that approach was, in detail, and let
you decide whether it’s different, remarkable, or unique.
For example, given the choice between working smarter and working
status-quo we’d all choose smarter. So why aren’t we working smarter?
Because we weren’t given the choice. Budgetary and administrative
constraints define the space in which we can enact change, and it’s
almost always a very small space. So why not enact lots of small
changes?
That’s the question behind Kryos’ evolutionary incremental approach. A
one step at a time approach that helps business, regardless of current
scope and scale, grow larger in an intelligent and successful way.

Incremental Investment
Raise your hand if you have unlimited budget and free reign to
implement whichever IT changes you want to. Anyone? Exactly. Few if any
of us can introduce change as fast as we’d like to. That said, change
has to happen as a part of growth, and so Kryos supports an incremental
approach to investment in change. We know how to move mountains a
spoonful at a time, delivering real tangible business value within
small manageably affordable projects.
All Terrain Development
100 years ago if you wanted to move products from one end of the
country to the other, you built a railroad. You knew exactly where
everything was coming from and where it was going to, so it was a
simple matter of finding the straightest, most level line between A and
B, then applying huge amounts of energy and manpower towards
constructing the line. Once you’d connected A to B, you put a train on
the track and off you went. Project completed. System deployed. Early
IT projects resembled the railway approach in that you had years to
build a known-purpose single-function system, and resourcing was just
as predictable.
Today’s IT environment calls for what we call the All Terrain
Development approach. Today's technology projects are better suited to
an agile, adaptive, high-torque, approach to problem-solving and value
delivery. An approach that leaves room for unexpected opportunities,
flexible pace-setting, on the way innovation, and. Think of an all
terrain vehicle versus a train.
